How we helped an artisanal food brand find its flavour, and its following.

The Brief

Gormei Market opened its first store in CIT Colony as a curated haven for connoisseurs, bringing together imported delicacies, artisanal products, and gourmet essentials under one roof. With a loyal, niche audience already in place, the brand was ready to expand. But before that, it needed something else: a distinct identity that stood apart in a city crowded with retail noise.

A Tastefully Bold Take

Our mandate was clear, craft a brand voice as refined and offbeat as the store itself. We launched a series of sharp, tongue-in-cheek print ads and in-store posters to announce the arrival of Gormei Market in Anna Nagar.

The layouts were clean and minimal, letting the copy do the heavy lifting. In a city used to loud, cluttered advertising, Gormei’s understated wit and premium aesthetic made heads turn, and sparked conversation.

The Result

The campaign delivered instant traction. Footfalls rose within days of launch, with customers walking in just to check out the brand they’d spotted in the papers. Some even took to social media to post their favourite Gormei ads. The buzz was enough to spur the launch of a third outlet in Adyar.

For us, it was one of those assignments, where the brief said “something different,” we took it literally, and the city noticed.
