Brand Cookd embodies the idea of ‘the joy of cooking’ by offering a versatile range of products & easy-to-follow recipes that make the process “from pan to plate”, considerably low effort and truly pleasurable. Cookd’s specially curated range included products like Fried chicken kit, Biryani kits, Pallipalayam masala and Highway dhaba curry mix to name a few. 

The brand empowers its customers with the confidence to prepare exotic dishes, and solve the eternal problem of what to cook.

Cookd’s recipes and products are powerful enablers in the kitchen. They help people get delicious meals on the table, regardless of their skill level or time challenges.

How do we translate this promise into packaging and positioning, in a way that would appeal to Cookd’s core audience; the under 40s? We also had to differentiate the brand from dozens of other products that either tasted stale or offered chemical tasting, poorly spiced options.

The Master Chef Moment

It was right in front of us, the way to look, feel and sound authentic. The Cookd logo was bold, captivating and was in use for a while. We reinvented a little bit, upped the flavour and came up with a visual mnemonic using a custom font. The C of Cookd became its signature; that simply stood out in all mediums. The positioning and DNA of the brand was equally well-captured through the tagline
“Recipe for Happiness”.

Plating up
We created distinct guidelines for the various ranges offered by Cookd, while keeping the core visual language intact. The food photography was warm, authentic and showcased dishes and ingredients in an appetising yet relatable way. The tagline was an inseparable part of the logo, reassuring customers of our commitment of delivering delicious meals, every single time.
